Replacement starter for 1998-2000 Suzuki DF40, DF50, DF60, and DF70 4-stroke outboard motors. This 12-volt PMDD starter uses permanent magnet technology to deliver strong cranking torque while keeping overall weight to just 5 pounds. The 8-tooth pinion with 28mm outer diameter engages the flywheel ring gear with counterclockwise rotation. Three M8-1.25 threaded mounting ears provide a direct bolt-on fit to the engine block. The commutator end housing includes two additional M8-1.25 threaded mounting points for proper alignment. Replaces Suzuki 31100-87J00, 31100-87500, and Hitachi S114-671A.PRODUCT NOTICE:
